Role of Search Engines

To understand the role of internet search engine in our daily lives, we must first understand what is an internet search engine and how it works? In simple words, an internet search engine is a software which is designed for searching the internet for the desired search term and then return with the result which matches with the search query. So the question arises, how does it do that? How does a search engine knows what kind of answer the user is looking for and how does it locate on which website the answers lies within. This is where we must understand how an efficient search engine differs from a non efficient one. Although it involves complex algorithms, usually a search engine gets the desired search query results by indexing the internet itself. What do I mean when I say indexing the internet? Well in simple terms search engine send their spiders or crawlers to crawl the website all across the globe and then index them accordingly. So a search crawler will crawl...

Google photos are a cause of concern?

As with every Google service, there is a lot of collecting data going on and with Google Photos, things aren’t that much different. Granted, the service itself doesn’t have that much information nor does it ask for it, but there are still some privacy issues you need to be aware of. Google photos is an amazing tool, we do discourage it's usage but we do encourage caution. Should we even care about Email Tracking?

To understand what I am referring to, we first have understand what do I mean by Email tracking? Email Tracking As per wikipedia : Email tracking  is a method for monitoring the delivery of email messages to the intended recipient. Most tracking technologies use some form of digitally time-stamped record to reveal the exact time and date that an email was received or opened, as well the IP address of the recipient. Email tracking is useful when the sender wants to know if the intended recipient actually received the email, or if they clicked the links. However, due to the nature of the technology, email tracking cannot be considered an absolutely accurate indicator that a message was opened or read by the recipient. Most email marketing software provides tracking features, sometimes in aggregate (e.g., click-through rate), and sometimes on an individual basis. Now that we have understood what email tracking is, I want to raise a poin...
