Smart Home. A Futuristic Utopia or Privacy Nightmare?

Smart homes used to be sci-fi dreams for those who grew up on Hollywood movies, ranging blockbusters hits such as Star wars and futuristic ones like Back to the future. We all wanted to have technologies to travel at distant places in blink of an eye and have amazing gadgets at home which will perform our routine chores with simply talking to them.

Now we are at a technological age where all this seems possible especially considering how Amazon's Alexa and Google Home assistant is performing, it's like finally we are getting the future we always dreamed of.

Instead with latest updates regarding Facebook leaks and privacy concerns we are again at cross roads which simply states this:
"In exchange of your fancy dreams we need to annul your privacy laws"
So to have such amazing freedom we must give up on our own privacy and such is the way now
As mentioned in this article how smart devices in our very own homes is spying on us, keeping tabs on things we do and when necessary is selling this information to companies or worse influencing our country politics and leadership
