Invasion of Children Online Privacy by Checking their Web Search History
Digital Parenting Dilemma
I am currently in deep thought after coming across this article which states the question whether children have the right to privacy or not? Or if parents can check their web search history without their permission.
The gist of the article circle around the argument that at young age parents are mostly concerned about their children's safety which forces them to make decisions which can be slightly controversial however necessary given the fact that due to advancement in technology everyone can connect with anyone.
This makes the children present in online world unsafe and unprepared to face against those who intend to harm them and they are not fully mature enough to understand the dangers they face.
Lastly the blog mentions of different software and devices, one being Wouter which can solve this problem for parents and help them manage digital parenting more effectively.
